Check in hotel..

Desk Clerk: Welcome to the Marriott Hotel. Do you have a reservation?

Jim: Yes, I do. I'll be staying for two days.  

Desk Clerk: What is your name?  

Jim: Jim Stroud

Desk Clerk: Are you here for business or pleasure?  

Jim: Could you speak a little softer please?  

Desk Clerk: I'm sorry. Do you have a headache?  

Jim: Yes I do. I also have a toothache.  

Desk Clerk: I'm sorry to hear that. I will speak quietly as I try to help you.  

Jim: Thank you.  

Desk Clerk: We have room 750 reserved for you. Will you be paying with cash or credit card?

Jim: A credit card. Here it is.  

Desk Clerk: Thank you.  

Jim: What's the rate?  

Desk Clerk: $149 per night. There's also a complimentary continental breakfast.  

Jim: Great.  

Desk Clerk: I need to make an imprint of your card.

Jim: Okay. How do I get to my room?

Desk Clerk: Take the elevator on the right to the seventh floor, and your room will be directly in front of you as you exit the elevator.  

Jim: Thank you.  

Desk Clerk: One more thing, sir.  

Jim: Yes?

Desk Clerk: Here is the address and phone number to my dentist.  


Jim: Thank you. You are too kind.
